Punahou School, an independent college preparatory day school founded in 1841, is located in lower Manoa Valley, a residential area of the city of Honolulu. With an enrollment of over 3,750 in grades K – 12, Punahou School is the largest coeducational, independent school on a single campus in the United States. The senior class typically numbers around 425.
