My wife and I went on our honeymoon to Hawaii, first for a week on Maui followed by a week on the Big Island. We fell in love with each other first and Hawaii second.
Our Maui time brought us to Lahaina, where we spent a night at the Lahaina Inn. It was wonderful to see the sun come up and watch Lahaina stir to life.
We spent time in Hana, where we took as much time to meet the people. We had our innkeeper over for a barbeque, and talked until late.
The Big Island was for beaches and camping, but our rented camper broke down. We stayed at a beautiful B&B near the Kau peninsula, and got to see green sands beach.
To this day we still love these islands. We sell Hawaiian shirts from one store and sundresses from another.
