We are located in beautiful Hawaii where there is an abundance of fresh tropical fruits, nuts and spices to create the most exquisite handmade chocolate confections. Sweet Paradise Master Chocolatier Melanie Boudar is a graduate of Ecole Chocolat of Vancouver, Canada , the Artisan Chocolate and Confection Program at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and has studied with some of the finest artisan chocolate makers in North America.
Her love of chocolate developed during her 30 year career as a diamond and gemstone buyer, traveling regularly to Antwerp and Brussels, Belgium.. In a twist of fate, a diamond deal gone wrong one day led to the discovery of fine chocolate. One taste and she knew why there were lines at 9:00 am on Monday in these corner chocolate shops!
